Oregon’s Death with Dignity law affects only Oregon residents. You can’t show up at the end of life to take advantage of their law. Regarding the statement of Dr. Weitzman that this is what most Arizonan’s want, she is correct. Polling on the topic has shown that the majority of Arizonans is to have death with dignity on our own terms when we are ready. If someone prefers a lingering death, that is their choice.
