The Surprise Tennis and Racquet Complex is offering Surprise Tennis University, a new adult beginner tennis program starting Aug. 19.
This 11-week program consists of six weeks of on-and-off court drills, four weeks of supervised match play, and the final week concludes with a non-elimination tournament and player graduation party.
Registered participants will receive walk-on practice court time, ball machine rentals, ball basket rentals, and loaner racquets during the 11-week course.
There are two programs offered: Tuesday evenings from 7-8:30 or Saturday mornings from 9-10:30.
